Postdoctoral Fellow / Research Assistant Positions in Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine

Applications are invited for Postdoctoral Fellow and Research Assistant positions in a dynamic research team focused on stem cell biology, regenerative medicine, and translational neuroscience.

Our laboratory conducts interdisciplinary research integrating stem cells, biomimetic nanomaterials, and animal models of neurological diseases, with particular emphasis on innovative therapeutic strategies for brain injury and related disorders. We aim to uncover molecular mechanisms governing stem cell function and develop advanced delivery platforms to enhance regenerative outcomes.

Major Responsibilities

• Lead or participate in funded research projects investigating molecular regulation of stem cells and stem cell–based therapies.

• Design and perform experiments using multidisciplinary approaches (molecular biology, cell biology, biomaterials engineering, and animal models).

• Contribute to grant applications, progress reports, and research planning.

• Supervise and mentor graduate and undergraduate students (Postdoctoral Fellow level).

Qualifications

Applicants should possess:

1. A PhD degree (for Postdoctoral Fellow) or a Master’s degree (for Research Assistant) from a local university or a well-recognized international institution in Biomedical Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, or related disciplines.

2. Strong background in molecular biology and/or cell biology; prior experience in stem cell research, biomaterials, nanomedicine, or animal models of neurological diseases would be an advantage.

3. A self-motivated, responsible, and conscientious work ethic with strong problem-solving skills.

Salary and Appointment

• Postdoctoral Fellow: HKD 38,000–45,000 per month (commensurate with qualifications and experience).

• Research Assistant salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Initial appointment will be on a 12–24 month contract, renewable subject to satisfactory performance and mutual agreement.
